How Approvers Review and Publish
The Approver role lets specific users in the web area review and approve content separate from publishing it. Authors have to submit their content for review and approval before it can be published. Editors, Admin/webmasters, and approvers can publish content that's in the Draft, needs review status.
Finding Content You Need to Approve
When someone in your web area selects the Draft, needs review option, an email is sent to approvers, notifying them that the content is needs review.
- Click on the URL in the e-mail. You will first be prompted to log in to the WebCMS, then will go directly to the page. OR
- Log in to the WebCMS and then paste in the URL from the e-mail in your browser window.
- Once logged in, and at the page, choose Draft approved or Published.
- Draft approved means it has been approved and someone else in the web area can publish.
- Published means that the page is published.
Alternatively, you can go to the content listing of the web area. Choose Moderation State "Draft, needs review".
