How do People Review Draft Content?
People at EPA
- It helps, but is not necessary, to make sure the reviewer is connected to the VPN and logged into www.epa.gov/user using their PIV card.
- Send them the URL of the content to review.
- They can click the link or copy-paste the URL into the address bar of their browser.
- To find the correct URL:
- Find the URL to send on the Revisions tab. The most recent revision will be at the top of the page. Select the latest date and time link and use that URL.
- If the URL doesn’t load correctly, hit Control-Shift-R to clear the browser cache and refresh the page.
People External to EPA
- People who have a LAN ID and remote access can log in and review content just the same as people at EPA. It's also possible to use Login.gov.
- WebCMS allows password protection for external review. Such pages must first be published before it can be reviewed externally.
- If you print the page as a PDF, you can email it as an attachment. They may not be able to review all the content and links.
