Who Can Do What in the WebCMS?
Who Can Serve as a Web Editor-in-Chief (EIC)?
- EPA managers and staff, including Presidential Management Fellows (PMFs), may serve as web EICs.
- Who may not serve as EICs:
- Contractors, including Student Services Contractors,
- ORISE, AAAS and other fellows,
- SEE employees, and
- Interns.

Who Can Create Web Content and Edit It?
Anyone. EPA employees, fellows, SEE employees, contractors, and interns.
Applies to: All web content anywhere: CMS, applications, story maps, mobile apps, etc.
Who Can Publish Web Content?
- EPA staff, including Presidential Management Fellows (PMFs), and contractors (including Student Services Contractors) (under the direct supervision of EPA employees) may publish web content.
- Who may not publish web content:
In the Drupal Web CMS, only EPA employees, PMF fellows and contractors should receive an editor or administrator member (webmaster) role. Learn more about roles in the Web CMS.
