Logging into EPA Web Servers
This information DOES NOT apply to the WebCMS. Here's how you access the WebCMS. This information is for www3. This page explains how to log on to your www3 account. It assumes that you have:
- Contacted your ADP coordinator and obtained an user id (LAN ID and password);
- Been added by your ADP coordinator to the TSSMS account. (TSSMS has been replaced but the action is the same.)
If you are accessing the servers from a computer outside the Agency's network, your ADP coordinator must have requested appropriate access for you.
If you are using SSH/telnet software, you will enter the host name in a location in the software’s logon screen. EPA PCs come with SSH/telnet. You can also use PuTTY.
Start a session by connecting to the host. For example, to logon to the www3, if you are jsmith02:
> ssh jsmith02@buckeye.epa.gov
You will be prompted for your password. Use your EPA password.
